- Lot Description
Original tempera on canvas painting titled “North” by Ukrainian artist Alexey Petrenko, signed and dated 1990 lower left. The composition depicts a serene landscape with a river, tall golden grasses, and a white tower structure set against a vivid blue sky with clouds, rendered in Petrenko’s distinctive textured tempera technique. Presented in a wooden frame, with label verso identifying the artist and title. A strong example of late 20th century Ukrainian painting, showcasing bold color, stylized natural forms, and atmospheric depth. Approx. frame size (in): 27.5 x 35.5 x 2.25, Approx. painting size (in): 23 x 30.75.
