A desirable group of four antique cast iron banks, highlighted by a figural mechanical example depicting a hunter and standing bear, accompanied by three classic safe-form still banks. The mechanical bank shows significant age and wear, including paint loss, surface oxidation, and an incomplete or non-working mechanism, but retains strong character and display presence. The three safe banks vary in design, each featuring molded details such as paneling, dial fronts, and door motifs, with one appearing to have an opening door while the others are traditional still banks. All pieces show consistent age-related wear, including patina, rust, and finish loss, with no major structural breaks observed. An appealing and well-rounded lot for collectors of antique cast iron banks or early coin banks. Approx. dimensions (in): 7.5 x 10.25 x 2.75 (biggest piece).
