- Lot Description
Impressive pair of antique silver-plated figural candelabra, likely late 19th to early 20th century (circa 1880–1910), featuring finely cast mythological male figures, possibly fauns or satyrs, with horned heads standing atop richly detailed columns with decorative elephant head mounts and tripod bases terminating in stylized paw feet. Each stands approximately 21.5 inches tall and supports three candle arms, exhibiting strong sculptural detail and substantial weight indicative of a bronze or brass core beneath worn silver plating. These striking Neoclassical revival pieces offer bold decorative presence and are ideal for mantel or table display. Good antique condition with age-appropriate wear to the silvered surface, minor oxidation, and typical surface imperfections; please review photos for details. Approx.
