Offered here is a charming antique Victorian wall clock by Wm. L. Gilbert Clock Co., housed in an ornate carved walnut case with a richly detailed crest and decorative appliqués. The clock features a warm, aged dial with Roman numerals and original hands, complemented by a visible brass pendulum with decorative accents and a subsidiary regulator dial. The interior showcases attractive printed scenic panels on either side, adding depth and visual interest, while the glass door retains its period-style lace motif. The case exhibits a lovely patina consistent with age, along with expected wear and minor imperfections that speak to its authenticity and history. The movement appears complete and includes a key, though functionality has not been tested. A fine example of late 19th to early 20th century American clockmaking, this piece would make a wonderful addition to any antique clock collection or period interior. Approx. dimensions (in): 23.25 x 16.25 x 5.25.
