This beautifully detailed Boehm porcelain sculpture depicts a Road Runner (Geococcyx californianus) captured in dynamic motion, perched atop a naturalistic base. Issued as a limited edition and marked #493, the piece features exceptional hand-painted detail throughout, from the intricate feather patterning in earthy greens, browns, and creams to the expressive open beak and alert posture. The underside bears the official Boehm Limited Edition mark along with the species name and “Made in U.S.A.,” and the base is artist-signed “Boehm.” The craftsmanship showcases Boehm’s renowned attention to realism and quality, making it a standout display piece. Condition is very good overall with no major chips or cracks observed; there appears to be a small repair or loss to one toe, as shown in the photos.
