- Lot Description
A graceful classical-style composition material sculpture depicting a semi-draped maiden leaning over a basin or fountain, set on a round plinth and raised on a black ebonized base. The figure is finely modeled with detailed hair, flowing drapery, and a vine-decorated pedestal supporting the bowl, giving the piece a strong Greco-Roman revival appearance. The surface shows warm age toning, scattered discoloration, minor soiling, and visible wear consistent with age and handling. A decorative figural sculpture well suited for display, offered as found. Approx. dimensions (in): 13 x 4.75 x 5.5.
