A contemporary textured oil painting depicting a solitary house set against an expansive sky, with railroad tracks leading toward the structure across a reddish-brown landscape. The work is executed with heavy impasto and layered surface texture, giving the scene a weathered, atmospheric quality with muted blues, whites, greens, and earth tones throughout. The painting is signed in the lower right 'Fred Belli.' Presented in a simple gold-tone frame, the piece shows age-related wear including surface marks, small losses, craquelure, and wear to the frame and verso, as shown.
