- Lot Description
Limited edition print titled Asterix by Geoffrey Brunell (b. 1945), dated 1969. This colorful abstract geometric composition features a radial starburst design with patterned panels in yellow, green, and earth tones arranged around a central organic form. The work is pencil signed and dated "Geoffrey Brunell 69" at lower right and titled with edition number "Asterix 17/20" at lower left. Sheet measures approximately 26 x 28 inches and is presented in a frame. Auction label on the reverse notes the edition and details. Condition shows a small tear in the paper at the lower left area of the sheet as noted on the gallery label. A striking late-1960s modernist print from a very limited edition. Approx. frame size (in): 37 x 39 x 0.75, Approx. painting size (in): 26 x 28.
