- Lot Description
Illegibly signed framed figural abstract enamel artwork featuring a vivid modernist composition with layered faces, bird-like forms, mask-like figures, and geometric shapes in bright blue, green, yellow, red, orange, cream, and black tones. The glossy textured enamel surface gives the piece a bold dimensional quality, and it is presented in a dark wood frame with gold-tone inner trim. Signed at the lower right, though the signature is difficult to read. The reverse has a wood backing with hanging wire. Condition consistent with age and display, including visible wear to the frame and backing. Approx. frame size (in): 27.25 x 21.25 x 1.25, Approx. painting size (in): 19.75 x 13.75.
