An impressive large-scale Indo-Persian bidriware bowl, richly decorated with intricate silver inlay forming dense scrolling floral and foliate patterns across the entire exterior. The finely worked surface features a striking contrast between the darkened alloy ground and the shimmering silver overlay, a hallmark of traditional Bidri craftsmanship. The rim is elegantly scalloped, adding a refined decorative edge that complements the elaborate botanical motifs below. The underside reveals expected age-related wear and oxidation, along with a hand-scratched inventory number, consistent with antique examples of this type. The interior shows natural patination and use, further supporting its age and authenticity. Likely dating to the 19th or early 20th century, this substantial and visually captivating piece would make a strong statement in any collection of Islamic or Indian metalwork. Approx. dimensions (in): 6.25 x 10.25 x 10.25.
