- Lot Description
Japanese cloisonné table lamp featuring an elongated vase-form body richly decorated with colorful figures in traditional dress amid a continuous riverside landscape, with fan-shaped reserves, birds, flowers, trees, and finely detailed gilt-wire accents against black, turquoise, and olive grounds. The vase is mounted on a pierced carved wood base and fitted with a two-light metal fixture, each socket operated by a pull chain. The underside is impressed “JAPAN,” and the lamp retains its attached electrical cord. Approx. dimensions (in): 18.25 (to the top of the finial) x 6.25 x 4.5.
