Framed signed limited edition maritime print by John Stobart titled Annapolis: Moonlight Over the Maryland State House, Looking South, in 1860, depicting a moonlit historic view of Annapolis Harbor with the Maryland State House prominently in the foreground, ships at dock, rooftops, streets, and St. Mary’s Church in the distance. Published by Maritime Heritage Prints, Inc., copyright 1986, in a limited signed edition of 950, with this example numbered 882/950 and signed in pencil by the artist at lower right. The print is presented under glass in a decorative wood frame with double matting. The back retains gallery/framing labels and hanging wire. A finely detailed collectible Annapolis and Chesapeake Bay scene by one of America’s best-known maritime artists. Frame and backing show age-related wear, scuffs, small tears to backing paper, and general handling wear; print appears clean overall with some glare/reflection visible in photos. Sold as shown.
