This lot includes 400+ seashells. Extensive natural history collection featuring a wide variety of large and small seashells, including conch, murex, cone, cowrie, scallop and nautilus-type shells, along with sea urchin tests, sand dollars, coral specimens and other marine curiosities. Several examples remain individually boxed or accompanied by older identification labels, while others are grouped by form and species. The collection displays a broad range of colors, patterns, textures and sculptural shapes, with expected surface wear, natural imperfections and occasional losses consistent with age and handling. Approx. dimensions (in): Range from 0.5 to 16.75.
