Offered is a diverse and attractive lot of vintage medals spanning U.S. military awards, fraternal organization honors, and commemorative pieces. The group includes a U.S. Army Good Conduct Medal housed in its original worn presentation box, along with additional military decorations such as Army National Guard and Armed Forces Reserve medals. Also included are fraternal and service medals, including a 50-year service award presented to Lynwood A. Tripp dated 1928, and a “Veteran” medal from the Grand Lodge of Massachusetts. The lot further features commemorative medallions depicting historical figures and achievements such as Amelia Earhart, Leonardo da Vinci, and the Apollo moon landing, along with scouting and civic-related pieces. Condition varies from light wear to age-related patina, with some ribbons showing fraying and storage wear consistent with age. This is an excellent mixed lot for collectors, dealers, or anyone interested in military history and commemorative medallic art.
