- Lot Description
A varied collection of Chinese porcelain and ceramic wares, including a finely potted baluster vase decorated with birds in flight above grasses, bearing an underglaze red mark to the base; a famille rose scalloped bowl with floral sprays and a red seal mark; a blue-ground rectangular jardinière with floral enamel decoration and recessed base mark; and a small brown-glazed tea bowl with abstract resist decoration. The group displays a range of decorative styles and likely dates from the late Qing to Republic period and later. Condition varies throughout, with visible wear including rim chips, glaze losses, surface abrasions, and firing imperfections consistent with age and use. An attractive assortment suitable for decorative display or study. One bowl has chip on the edge. Approx. vase dimensions (in): 6 x 4 x 4.
