A finely detailed hand-colored etching depicting a panoramic view of Vienna, prominently featuring the soaring spire of St. Stephen’s Cathedral alongside the city’s historic rooftops and domes. This work is signed in pencil lower right by Austrian artist Luigi Kasimir (1881–1962), renowned for his architectural cityscapes and masterful etching technique. The composition captures the atmospheric depth and intricate linework characteristic of Kasimir’s oeuvre, enhanced by subtle hand-applied color. Presented in a later wood frame with mat, the sheet shows toning and minor wear consistent with age, while the reverse reveals typical mounting from a previous framing. A classic and collectible European city view by one of the 20th century’s most recognized printmakers. Approx. frame size (in): 26.25 x 38.25 x 1.5, Approx. painting size (in): 14.25 x 26.75.
