- Lot Description
A finely decorated pair of Chinese cloisonné enamel lidded jars, each of rounded form and richly adorned with vibrant blue, turquoise, and green scrolling floral motifs outlined in gilt wire. The bodies feature stylized lotus blossoms and foliate patterns, complemented by a banded neck and foot with gilded rims. Each lid is surmounted by a cast gilt foo dog finial, adding a traditional decorative element. The interiors are enameled in a deep blue tone, and one base retains a “Made in China” label, indicating 20th-century production. Presented with fitted carved wooden stands, this attractive pair displays well and exemplifies the enduring appeal of Chinese cloisonné craftsmanship.
