A fine antique Polyphon disc music box housed in an ornately carved walnut case, featuring richly detailed relief panels and a hinged lid with interior viewing window. This classic late 19th to early 20th century mechanical music box operates via a hand crank and includes a set of original perforated metal discs, allowing for a variety of musical selections. The interior reveals the signed Polyphon movement with comb and gearing intact, while the exterior showcases elegant craftsmanship with stepped molding and decorative accents. The piece presents well with a warm aged patina, showing expected wear consistent with age and use.
