- Lot Description
A handsome Rosenthal Group “Classic Rose” porcelain dinner service made in Germany, featuring a crisp white ground with deep cobalt blue borders and ornate gilt floral scroll decoration. The set includes a generous assortment of dinner plates, salad or dessert plates, bowls, teacups with saucers, serving platters, a large serving bowl, gravy boat with underplate, and salt and pepper shakers. The underside bears the green “Classic Rose, Rosenthal Group, Germany” backstamp. This elegant service presents beautifully for formal dining or display, with rich contrast between the cobalt border, bright white centers, and gold detailing. Condition appears generally good overall with light signs of age and use, including minor wear to gilt decoration and surface marks consistent with handling. Total 61 pieces.
