- Lot Description
A decorative signed oil on canvas landscape depicting a tranquil autumn scene with two horses standing beneath a richly colored tree beside a seated figure near the water’s edge. The composition features warm fall foliage in shades of orange, red, and gold, set against a soft blue-green sky and distant shoreline. The painting is executed with loose, impressionistic brushwork and visible texture throughout, giving the piece a warm atmospheric quality. Signed lower right, though the signature is difficult to decipher, and presented in a carved wood frame. The reverse shows an older canvas and wood stretcher with age-appropriate wear. Condition shows craquelure, surface wear, frame scuffs, and general signs of age, as pictured. A charming equestrian landscape suitable for rustic, traditional, or country-style interiors. Approx. frame size (in): 34 x 39 x 1.75, Approx. painting size (in): 29.5 x 34.5.
