- Lot Description
Framed decorative print titled "Utamaro Lovers," depicting an intimate couple in traditional Japanese attire rendered in the style of Edo-period ukiyo-e woodblock prints associated with the work of Japanese artist Kitagawa Utamaro. The composition shows the couple reclining together with detailed patterned garments, fan, and interior elements typical of classical Japanese genre scenes. The print bears the title "UTAMARO LOVERS" below the image and is presented in a black frame under glass. A label from a framing shop is present on the reverse. Decorative reproduction after the well-known ukiyo-e tradition, suitable for display. Condition consistent with age and framing, with some wear to the backing paper on the reverse. Approx. frame size (in): 24.25 x 30.25 x 0.75, Approx. painting size (in): 15.25 x 23.75.
