Featured in this lot we have a original painting showing Edison and his first successful light bulb. The image shows Edison showing the light to seven other gentleman as they stair and inspect the light. The figures appear to be standing in a lab or study type area. The piece is marked across the bottom reading "Edison and his first successful incandescent electric light at Menlo park 1879". The piece shows fair condition overall with some wear indicative of age. The piece measures 41" long by 20 1/2" tall.
