Featured in this lot is this outstanding opal diamond and 14k yellow gold necklace with AIGL paperwork. The necklace features a wonderfully and professionally crafted 14k yellow gold construction that features markings of 'Oscar Friedman' and shows a '14k' gold stamp next to the hallmark and is also marked 'OP 40.53cts D 1.14cts.' The necklace features oval, marquise, and pear cut opal cabochon with measurements of 9 x 7-12 x 10mm for the oval, 17 x 8mm for the marquise, and 10 x 8-13 x 9mm for the pear cut cabochon and shows a play in color and is semi transparent with a total weight of 40.53 carats. The links intertwined with the cabochon is decorated with a total of 16 natural round brilliant cut diamonds with measurements of 2.5 - 2.8mm with a clarity of SI1 and a color gradient of I - J and a total diamond weight of 1.14 carats. The piece comes complete with AIGL Inc.(American International Gemological Laboratories, Inc. a GIA certified lab AIGL#: K11E486-EA17198) report and appraisal confirming the above info and giving a total value of $34,236.00.
