Featured in this lot is a pristine VS2 diamond and ruby platinum ring. The ring has a wonderfully and professionally crafted platinum construction that features a 'Shiefield & Sons' hallmark with a 'PT950' next to the hallmark. The ring features a center stone of a natural round brilliant cut diamond that has measurements of 7.4mm x 4.7mm and shows a color gradient of H and a clarity of I1 and a total weight of 1.52 carats. The center stone is profusely decorated with a total of 16 natural square rubies with measurements of 1.5 - 2.5mm and shows red coloration with a total weight of 2.25 carats. The frame and pave set shoulders are decorated with a total of 46 round brilliant cut diamonds and shows measurements of 1.3 - 1.5mm and shows a clarity of VS2 - SI1 and a coloration of F - G with a total weight of 0.54 carats. The piece comes complete with AIGL Inc.(American International Gemological Laboratories, Inc. a GIA certified lab AIGL#: K84D25-EA17864) report and appraisal confirming the above info and giving a total value of $21,063.00. The ring size is US 7.*
