Federal Inlaid Mahogany Bowfront Diminutive Sideboard
New England, c. 1800
38 1/2 x 49 1/2 x 25 1/2 in. (97.8 x 125.7 x 64.8 cm.)Condition
Scratches, stains, and shrinkage cracks to top. Brasses appear to have been silvered with most silvering wearing off. Center section possibly missing desk section: Some puppy scratches to one left leg, one center leg, and cupboard door. Lock replaced on cupboard doors. Shrinkage cracks to case sides. Each cupboard door lacking pull and hole plugged accordingly. Typical bruising and wear consistent with age and use. Otherwise, good sturdy condition.
