Federal Tiger Maple Rush Seat Settee
American, 19th C.
32 x 74 1/2 x 26 1/2 in. (81.3 x 189.2 x 67.3 cm.)Condition
Top of both center legs broken just below seat; center-right repaired; center-left probably replaced. Both rear center legs with patched holes that don’t “go anywhere.” Surface cleaned; crest repinned to stiles. Right-center stile with metal brace at juncture with back rest. Left stile broken and repaired at juncture with seat, patched above to crest, painted to match. Arm replaced as well.
