George I Carved Walnut Footstool
English, early 18th C.
19 x 21 x 17 in. (48.3 x 53.3 x 43.2 cm.)Condition
Warm, rich brown color. Old dry surface. Not examined under upholstery. Both knee returns on one leg replaced. Corner braces replaced. Some minor damage evident. Some feet show flat circle. One foot with ¼” diameter hole in underside.
