Portrait of a Boy and Girl
Watercolor on Paper
A blonde boy about 4 or 5 years old in a blue jacket with white pants sits in a green chair with gold trim. He holds a flower in his right hand. A brown hair girl about 8 or 9 wears a white with gray stripe dress with a white ruffled collar. She reads a book while holding it in her left hand and also sits in the same style chair which are very rare with pointed and curved backs. Both children have gray clouds behind their heads and sit in clouds. They are in a contemporary frame with a divider in the center and have Museum Glass 99% UV protection. These portraits are in Small Folk A Celebration of Childhood in America by Brant and Cullman on page 40.

Sight: 3 x 2 in. (7.6 x 5.1 cm.), Frame: 5 1/4 x 7 1/4 in. (13.3 x 18.4 cm.)Condition
Not examined out of frame. Each with light discoloration, mat burn and very minor foxing. Boy with foxing spot near hand. Girl with foxing/light brown spot near lower right corner/edge. No visible tears or repairs. Otherwise, good condition.
