Louis XV Marquetry Inlaid Marble Top Commode
French, 18th C. inlaid with bouquets of flowers.
Surface distress and wear.
35 x 47 3/4 x 25 in. (88.9 x 121.3 x 63.5 cm.)Condition
Scratches, wear, and minor chipping to marble top consistent with age and use. Some losses and patches to veneer. Losses are primarily on legs; mounts possibly re-gilted. Minor losses to veneers at base of urn on lower drawer. Top drawer with traces of old lining paper. Otherwise, presents nicely is in overall good condition.
