18th/19th C. With Brown Family Monograms, "JB" for John Brown and "NAB" possibly Nicholas Brown. Comprising, six teacups, two bowls, a shallow bowl, and 6 dishes. 15 pieces
Chips, repairs, losses. surface distress.
Provenance: John Brown (1736-1803), Providence, Rhode Island;
To his daughter, Sarah Brown Herreshoff (1773-1846);
To her son Charles Frederick Herreshoff (1809-1888);
Thus by descent in the Herreshoff Family line.
