Together with another candlestand, New England, 18th/19th C. and two Two Chippendale Rush Seat Side Chairs, New England, 18th C.
Provenance: Walnut Candlestand, Provenance: John Brown (1736-1803), Providence, Rhode Island;
To his daughter, Sarah Brown Herreshoff (1773-1846);
To her son Charles Frederick Herreshoff (1809-1888);
Thus by descent in the Herreshoff Family line.
