Biografía: Silao, Guanajuato, es el lugar de nacimiento de José Chávez Morado (1909-2002) uno de los artistas más talentosos, pero al mismo tiempo olvidado por los medios tradicionales, parte del grupo de artistas de la llamada Escuela Mexicana de Pintura, quien se caracterizó principalmente por su trazo fuerte con estilo figurativo, que se decantó en expresionismo estilizado. Biography: Silao, Guanajuato, is the birthplace of José Chávez Morado (1909-2002) one of the most talented artists, but at the same time forgotten by traditional media, part of the group of artists of the so-called Mexican School of Painting, who was mainly characterized by his strong line with a figurative style, which opted for stylized expressionism.
