Biografía:  Luis Zárate nació en Santa Catarina Cuanana en 1951. Su formación la realiza en la Escuela Nacional Superior de Artes en París y en Altelier 17. Es uno de los pintores oaxaqueños más destacados del país y con gran reconocimiento internacional. Biography: Luis Zárate was born in Santa Catarina Cuanana in 1951. His training was carried out at the Escuela Nacional Superior de Artes in Paris and at Altelier 17. He is one of the most outstanding Oaxacan painters in the country and with great international recognition.
