Created in the wake of the bombing of Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941, this World War II propaganda poster depicts an ugly, ogre-like Japanese soldier spreading the seeds of death (skulls) into a barren landscape. Benton's war posters are particularly memorable because of their gruesome depictions.
Good condition and color, has a few fold lines, as is typical. Linen backed.
