A. Frandetti (Russian 19th Century) Oil on Canvas "Storm in the Black Sea", signed lower right Frandetti, molded gilt and ebonized frame; A. Frandetti was a 19th Century Russian marine Artist of Italian origin, known for his seascapes and depictions of the Black Sea, he was active around 1900, particularly in Odessa; his work is influenced by the renowned Russian marinist Ivan Aivazovsky
