Stephen Pyke - London, Burr-Walnut Queen Anne Tall Case Clock, circa 1725-1750, arched pediment over the engraved brass dial which is decorated with four matching repousse Rococo style spandrels, and the arch of the dial is engraved with the maker's name Stephen Pyke, London and flanked by two putti. The silvered time ring is formatted with Roman-style hour numerals, an engraved seconds register and an aperture for the calendar day. The waist door is tomb-stone shaped and fitted with applied molding.
