2001: A Space Odyssey. MGM, 1970. A Stanley Kubrick production sci-fi movie half-sheet poster depicting Starchild, a proto-human that was meant to be a metaphor for our species emerging from the cosmos and evolving into interplanetary creatures. 22 x 28?. Fold separation and wear; several creases and scuff marks to image; soiling and adhesive marks to margins; several closed tears and edge wear; tape on verso. B-. Unmounted and folded. This little-seen variant bearing the 1970 copyright date is extremely scarce.
