- Lot Description
30 Star Flag: Rare Medallion Configuration. Scarce 30 star flag with a Medallion configuration, measuring 14 1/2" x 21". The thirty-star flag represents the inclusion of Wisconsin to the Union. Wisconsin was admitted on May 29th, 1848, and this flag became official on July 4th, 1848. The flag was official until July 4th, 1851, the time at which the thirty-one star flag became official and began to represent the inclusion of California in the Union.
Condition
Partially attached to original stick, which is broken. Light damps stains and wear. A rare flag.
