[AFRICAN AMERICANA]. TREGEAR, Gabriel Shire (1802?1841). A group of 8 etchings from ?Tregears Black Jokes?. London: G. S. Tregear, [ca. 1830s]. 4to. Etching and aquatint with hand?coloring by Charles Hunt after William Summers. Includes: Nos. 3, 4, 5, 6, 8, 11, 12, and 19. Marginal dust soiling or toning at extreme edges. Each professionally hinged and matted. A handsome suite of satirical racist illustrations marketed to the British public.
