{AFTER] BEARDEN, Romare (American 1911-1988). American Civil Liberties Union Color Screenprint Poster. Not dated. Color screenprint on paper. Image: 28 ? x 18?. Sheet: 35 x 24?. Unframed. Paper toned. Foxing in margins and in image. Edgewear with small tears primarily on right edge. Romare Bearden?s ?Slave Ship,? was used for an ACLU promotional poster. The image celebrated the life of Joseph Cinque, who led a mutiny on the slave ship Amistad.
