[ALICE IN WONDERLAND]. Libby?s Wonderland of Values. Walt Disney Enterprises, ca. 1951. Grocery store advertising poster tied-in to the release of Alice in Wonderland (Walt Disney, 1951). Illustrations from the film including, Alice, the Mad Hatter, and other characters inviting shoppers to participate in Libby?s Wonderland of Values.?Libby?s campaign material took full advantage of Alice in Wonderland?s themes, stating there was ?no need pretending any more,? Libby?s products offer ?magical eating.? 42 ? x 58?. Linen backed. Original folds; scattered restoration at edges and in image; few scuffs and abrasions, but bright and attractive overall. B+.
