ALLOM, Thomas, illustrator (1804?1872). ?? WALSH, Robert, Rev. Constantinople and the Scenery of the Seven Churches of Asia Minor. London: Fisher & Son, ca. 1838. 2 volumes in one, 4to. 2 additional engraved titles, 93 engraved plates after Allom, 2 maps (intermittent foxing to plates). Early half morocco over embossed boards, raised bands, gilt titling and fillets in compartments, marbled endpapers, by C. Ackerman (moderate edgewear). Provenance: original binder?s ticket. FIRST EDITION with plates after the notable English topographical illustrator.
