- Lot Description
[AMERICAN FOLK ART]. Wood Carved Mechanical Sculpture. ca. 1930s. 18 ? h x 24 w x 9?d. Surface dirt. Paint is splattered on a small section of base. Some light marks and rust on metal parts overall. Wood base is not perfectly level. Mechanics are in working order. Good condition. A Male figure holding a ball about to be dropped and kicked by another male figure. When activated a door opens as a foot kicks out along with a small stylized topless female torso somewhat simulating a male appendage. This is a strange and exceptionally made enigmatic work.
