Includes: Map of the Great Salt Lake?in the Territory of Utah [and] Map of a Reconnaissance Between Fort Leavenworth on the Missouri River. Original gilt?lettered brown cloth folding case (covers detached). FIRST EDITION, originally published with a single text volume titled: ?Exploration and Survey of the Valley of the Great Salt Lake of Utah?. The map of the Great Salt Lake was the earliest obtainable map of the Salt Lake region. Howes S?884; Sabin 90327; Wagner?Camp 219:2.
