- Lot Description
Ancient Mystic Order of Samaritans Parade Banner. Bethany Sanctorum No. 215 / Greenfield, Mass. (A.M.O.S.). Circa 1922. Hand painted silk with metallic trim and fringe and wooden hanging rod. Featuring an erupting volcano with the motto ?We Never Sleep" and further inscribed ?Instituted May 27, 1922. A.M.O.S. is an unofficial, appendant body of the Odd Fellows. Some tears to silk, particularly in gold portion. Minor paint cracking and loss in areas throughout. Good condition. Unrolled 58 ? x 36 x 1".
