Antique Mother of Pearl Gaming Set in Locking Card Press Box. 19th century. Hardwood box with bone and ebony detail, having a locked compartment of four trays holding a total of 136 mother of pearl Chinese export pictorially engraved gaming counters. Counters in three primary sizes: (72) narrow; (38) round; (19) rectangular; and others. 9 ? x 4 ? x 6 ??. Small piece chipped at top of right side post; slight wear to finish; a fine set. With key.
