Appearing Canary Cage. European, ca. 1960s. A brass birdcage in which the magician causes a live canary to appear. A similar cage was used by the famous Dutch conjurer Okito in his early performances. 11 x 9 x 15?. Exterior brass and cloth gimmick both show wear from age, but good working condition.
