Publisher?s orange cloth lettered in green (spine gently sunned); original unclipped dust jacket (spine panel a bit toned, minor rubbing at ends). Provenance: Bill Meckfessel (bookplate). FIRST EDITION, FIRST PRINTING of this scarce and often overlooked hardboiled mystery classic.
