Artie Shaw Owned Clarinet. Missing mouthpiece. Accompanied by a handwritten note: "This clarinet was given to my father, Artie Shaw, by a fan. He gave it to me before his death. - Jonathan Shaw".
Artie Shaw was a clarinetist, composer, and one of the most successful bandleaders of the swing era. He was known as the "King of the Clarinet."
