[ARTIST UNKNOWN]. (American, 20th century). Stone Folk - Successful Hunt signed Robert Wells. 1968. Mixed media construction on masonite in a handmade frame. 25 ? x 33 ??. This construction is a 3D hand painted scene of a hunter with his polar bear kill and the figures of the Intuit tribe surrounds them. The figures? faces are made of painted stones and are surrounded by shag carpet for the fur texture of their coats. Gravel stones make up the background of this odd work. Third party shipping required.
